Have you ever played a video game where you have to sleep to recover? They only let you do it if everything is safe. Otherwise they won’t let you sleep. You’ll get a message, saying “You cannot sleep now, there are monsters nearby.”
Now, remember the last time you just couldn’t get to sleep?
Don’t you fuckin do this to me
Soo what started as my worst birthday ever turned out to be amazing because of my wonderful husband. He ran me a nice relaxing candlelit bubble bath and we went out to eat and I got a cocorita. :)) #birthday #23 #ilovethatman #myhusbandisbetterthanyours #love #armywife #lovemylife

All of these keep popping up, I guess it’s because of the start of the school year… This is making me think maybe I should have gone into teaching, obviously other teachers have the same sense of humor I do… Guess it’s never too late to go back to school. Hmmm…. Besides if I go for Chem I can set shit on fire!
I hope to be one of these teachers someday…
Take a second and think about the one thing that promotes attraction the most. I’ll give you a hint. The answer is not physical looks, wealth, having things in common, or even the person’s personality. I know, it’s crazy right? The answer is actually proximity. Study after study finds that most people tend to become attracted to people who are physically close to them. The theory is called the mere exposure effect, and it states that we tend to become attracted to a novel stimuli if it is repeated over and over again. Think about it. I am sure you once saw a very attractive person who caught your attention while passing by your car or walking by you in the mall, then you never saw him/her again. Why do most people forget about that very attractive person a few days later? Simply because they never see that person again. If the stimuli wasn’t reinforced we tend to forget about it even if we liked it. It really is true. Just talking to someone a lot can do so much. You may not even see it coming. But If you spend a considerable amount of time with someone, you could be friends one day, and before you know it, you’ve completely fallen head over heals in love with each other. Maybe this has happened to you. You can’t fight it, but why would you want to? It’s a beautiful thing, really.
Wow, I remember writing this so long ago after learning about it in one of my college courses. One of my favorite posts ever.
